In partnership with First Impressions Enterprises, Inc., AWA hosted a Character Design class for 20 children at Mount Ennon Baptist Church. Artist Tyrone Barnes of SycrosD4 Art hosted. 

Under the guidance of comic book artist Keir Lyles, students experienced a new interactive Inking Project.

Halloween came early at Geppi's and AWA was there to celebrate. 

The first ever UFB Comic-con was full of like-minded people with like-minded interests. What a great time.

We had a great time at Annapolis Comic-con! From Demos to Panels - we did it all. Thanks agains to Third Eye Comics for putting this together.

It was a wonderful day for a outdoor community event in Berwyn Heights, Maryland. 

The Baltimore Book Festival was a fantastic time of books and friends. We hosted our first panel and generated lots of buzz!

Video Gamers United's first ever con was the stuff of legends.

Artist Darren Soto led students in a one day comic book class at the Silver Spring Library. 

It was 2 days of comic book design fun with kids at Savoy Elementary.

With The Patriots, AWA integrated ART into the STEM curriculum.

R2-D2 and others were out for ANS Comic-con, and it was quite a site.

Awesome-con lived up to its name with the best cosplayers and artists in the DMV.

Drawing games and demos kept children and artist alike on their toes during the festival

Herndon, VA was full of science and art.

Celebrating local women and minority artists, AIX's first popup gallery was quite a success. 

Children made masks with AWA at Jack and Jill's Jumoke.

It was one of our first classes, and it was a great success. 

Our first event led us to many students interested in comic books and art.
