AWA's appearances at the Annapolis Book Fair just keeping getting better and better. This year, we are definitely in our element. We're concentrating on creating original characters and are ready to show participants the steps needed to create their own creations or develop their style. 

Come out and see great authors, discover new literature, and have fun on the sprawling campus of the Key School. Make sure you stop by and come see in the Comic Key area, where we'll have fantastic artists selling artwork, taking commissions, and answering any and all your questions. Our workshops are below: 

10:30 - 11:30 The Art of Cute

Do you like the design of the Powerpuff Girls? Love collecting Pop figures? Enjoy the art of Skottie Young's Little Marvel? Come learn what makes a character cute with first time attendant Felicia Schaefer. Participants will learn how to draw their favorite cute character and even make some of their own. 

2:00 - 3:00 Pokemon Go & Draw

Come learn how to draw your favorite Pokemon with Tyrone Barnes, Jimmy Horner, and Damien Duckett. From the original 151 to the new Aloha region, no Pokemon is off limits!
