Milestone 2.0 Coming Soon?

Whether in the form of comics or cartoons, Milestone Comics has been a huge influence on the comic book world. Although the company was only around for about four years, it left a mark on the comic book industry with characters such as Icon, Rocket, and of course, Static Shock.

In 2011, DC Comics's New 52 launched with key figures from the Dakotaverse, such as Xombi and Static Shock, but suddenly ceases production with claims of an ongoing lawsuit. But now, Co-creator Denys Cowan says that the lawsuit has been resolved and there are plans for Milestone to return:

“There’s going to be some new things that are going to be announced. But for all people who are thinking about Milestone, we thank you for your continued patience.

There will be stuff to see and there will be stuff to see relatively soon. And hopefully, people will be back on the Milestone bandwagon, and it’ll be good because I think that now, it’s needed more than ever.”

We couldn't agree more. Milestone's return to the comic book world would be a great stride for diversity, both in and behind the books. But what do you think? What comics are you most excited to see if Milestone is indeed back?
